About Rosen Moss Snyder LLP

Disability & Personal Injury Lawyers Serving Philadelphia & Beyond

Rosen Moss Snyder LLP is a Philadelphia-based law firm with more than 35 years of experience representing people in disability and personal injury cases. Our three founding partners, Lance Rosen, Dan Moss, and Marc Snyder, built this firm after seeing how often injured and disabled people were treated as claim numbers rather than as individuals with families, careers, and futures on the line. That observation shapes everything we do.

Our practice covers ERISA claims, long-term disability appeals, Social Security disability, workers' compensation, and personal injury matters. We represent clients throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, as well as for clients across the country. Nearly all disability cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, so we share the financial risk and are paid only when there is a financial recovery for our client.

Wherever you're located in the nation, you can call (215) 874-3346 or contact us online to schedule a free consultation.

What Sets Us Apart

One of the firm's most distinctive advantages is the background Marc Snyder brings to every disability case. Before becoming a lawyer, he spent more than a decade in actuarial management at a major life and health insurance company. That experience means our firm understands how insurers build their policies, price risk, and construct denial rationales from the inside out, knowledge we use on behalf of every client we represent.

That foundation, combined with more than three decades of litigation experience across the firm, allows us to take on cases that many attorneys turn away. Across hundreds of cases nationwide, we have litigated against every major disability insurer, including MetLife, Unum, The Hartford, Prudential, New York Life, Lincoln Financial, MassMutual, Aetna, Guardian, and Sun Life. Marc Snyder is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, meaning we can carry a case from the initial application through federal appellate litigation without referring a client elsewhere. When litigation is not the right path, we are also experienced in negotiating lump-sum disability claim buyouts under both ERISA and private policies.

The firm's commitment extends beyond the courtroom. Dan Moss received the Outstanding Volunteer Attorney Award from CBAP for his pro bono work on behalf of disabled individuals and was elected to its Board of Directors. Marc Snyder is a contributing author to multiple editions of Employment Law in Pennsylvania and presents regularly at legal education seminars, as well as at events like the Parkinson's Council and the Autism Spectrum Disorder Symposium.

How We Handle Your Case & Help You

When you come to us, we start by listening. We take the time to understand your health, your work history, and what is at stake for you and your family. From there, we take on the workload, investigating the facts, working with outside experts, and keeping you informed at every stage. You participate when it is essential to your case, and you can trust us to handle the rest.

Every legal strategy is built around your specific situation. A denial is not the end of the process, and we have guided clients through every stage of appeal, from initial denials to federal court, securing SSDI approvals, long-term disability settlements, reversed denials, and favorable personal injury outcomes.

If you are dealing with a denial, a terminated benefit, or a personal injury claim, contact Rosen Moss Snyder LLP at (215) 874-3346 to discuss your options at no charge and with no obligation.
